CoreLogic Reports October Home Prices Increased by 3.5% Year
- The CoreLogic HPI Forecast indicates U.S. annual price growth will increase by 5.4% by October 2020 but with price declines in some metro areas
- All 50 states posted an annual increase in home prices
- Twenty-two metropolitan areas experienced annual declines in home prices
IRVINE, Calif. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — December 3, 2019 — CoreLogic® (NYSE: CLGX), a leading global property information, analytics and data-enabled solutions provider, today released the CoreLogic Home Price Index (HPI™) and HPI Forecast™ for October 2019, which shows home prices rose both year over year and month over month. Home prices increased nationally by 3.5% from October 2018. On a month-over-month basis, prices increased by 0.5% in October 2019. ( September 2019 data was revised. Revisions with public records data are standard, and to ensure accuracy, CoreLogic incorporates the newly released public data to provide updated results each month.)
